Do I need a WordPress site?
No. WordPress uses the plugin. Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow, GoDaddy or a hand-built site uses your order link or order box from your account - and the link also works in emails, texts and on a QR code at the counter.
Where is my order link?
Under Resell formation in your Service Boss account, next to a ready-made order box you can copy.
Do I have to pay for it?
Not for the name box - it is free and sends contractors to the formation wizard at our prices. Formation Pro ($49 per month or $490 per year) or Agency adds the full wizard on your own site under your name, your own markup and payouts.
Can I mark up the price?
Yes. Set your markup per package and per add-on under Resell formation. The contractor pays once, we file and keep our price, and your markup is paid out to you. State fees always pass through at cost.
Which business types are covered?
LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp, nonprofit, PLLC, professional corporation, LP, LLP, sole proprietorship and DBA, in every state and DC.
Does it store anything on my website?
No. It only passes the contractor's choices on to the formation wizard.
Can it default to my state?
Yes - choose a starting state in the plugin settings, or set it per box in the shortcode.
Is my site hosted with Service Boss?
Your site has it ready. From Hosting in your account, open the site and hit Switch on and connect - that is the whole setup.
